My first product was Liquid Smudge. It continues to be very popular. I developed it for a group of kids that went away to college and were dorm dwellers who could not burn anything.
Historically, smudging has been part of ceremonies all over the world. The Mayans still use copal for all of their sacred holidays. The Native Americans use sage or cedar. Frankincense and Myrrh are well-known in the Middle East. Nag Champa is a favorite in India. We light it and then move the smoke around us or in the space to clear the energy of lower resonant vibrations. (I recently used it at my wedding… after an hour of smudging everyone, the two smudgers were deliriouly happy and giggly, so light were their fields of energy). I know of stores that smudge every morning to clear out the day before.
I combined flower essences, and essential oils into a mist that acts like a smoke smudge. I then added crystal-charged distilled water, and the first mist was born. Over time, I was guided to make other combinations for different uses, and add to each a particular salt.
To Smudge Or Not To Smudge???
